A Sneak Peak Into The Future Of The Markets

Imagine your friend visited from the future and told you two things about the stock market. First, in three months, it will be lower, which made you worried. But then they said, “Don’t worry, in three years it will be higher than it is now.” So, you have some special information that others don’t, but there’s still a lot you don’t know. You don’t know how much the market will go down or up, what will cause these changes, or how long they will last.

Now, what would you do with this information? Would you try to time the market by buying and selling at the right times, or would you stick to your original plan as if you didn’t know anything?

This situation is common in the stock market because it always goes up and down. It shows that even with some information, there’s still a lot we don’t know. Investors often make bad choices when they think the information they have is all that matters. Sometimes, we just can’t know everything we need to know.

That’s why my advice is to ignore predictions, headlines, and gut feelings, and stick to your plan. I know it’s not easy, but it’s the most responsible thing to do in a market where there’s always more unknown than known.
